Kangana Ranaut To Become First Indian Female Director To Have A Japan Release With Manikarnika
Kangana Ranaut's directorial debut Manikarnika, which had a successful run in India, is all set to release in Japan on 3rd January 2020. This film will be the first Indian film directed by a female to be releasing in Japan
Kangana Ranaut has carved a niche for herself in Bollywood with some of her great performances. She has won people’s hearts with her brilliant acting skills and has received several awards, including three National Film Awards, four Filmfare Awards, three International Indian Film Academy Awards. Starting her Bollywood career in 2006 with the film Gangster, the actress has come a long way and has proved her mettle. Not just acting, the multitalented actress has also forayed into direction and took over the directorial charge of the movie Manikarnika.
Kangana Ranaut's directorial debut Manikarnika which is based on the life story of courageous Rani Laxmi Bai of Jhansi, had a successful run in India, is all set to release in Japan on 3rd January 2020. Kangana Ranaut, who took the directorial charge of the movie mid-way, left the nation awestruck by her performance both as an actor and director. After being one of the hits of 2019, Manikarnika, is now, all set to hit the silver screens in Japan. Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika also will be the first Indian film directed by a female to be releasing in Japan. The film also starred Atul Kulkarni, Suresh Oberoi, Danny Denzongpa and Ankita Lokhande. In other news, Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming movie 'Panga' will release in January next year followed by Thalaivi which is based on the life story of ex Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu J Jayalalithaa.
